1. Acceptance of Terms
By using ACTE123, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Service Description
ACTE123 is an independent, community-maintained platform that helps users understand Romanian administrative procedures. The platform enables users to explore procedures, plan required documentation, and track their progress. ACTE123 is not affiliated with, authorized by, maintained by, sponsored by, or supported by any government entity in Romania. All procedures and related information are maintained by volunteers and are provided on a best-effort basis.
3. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer
Information on ACTE123 is provided "as is", without any warranty, express or implied. Procedures, required documents, fees, and timelines may change at any time without notice. You are solely responsible for verifying all information with official sources (e.g., government websites, local offices) before relying on it for any purpose.
4. User Accounts
Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We use Supabase for authentication; your password is never stored in plain text.
5. User Obligations
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not use it to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content, or to violate the rights of others.
6. Intellectual Property
The platform code, design, and original content are the property of ACTE123. Procedure information sourced from public/governmental data follows the respective source licenses.
7. Limitation of Liability
ACTE123, its maintainers, and its volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use this platform, or from reliance on any information provided. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of time, money, or missed deadlines related to administrative procedures. This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy is to stop using the platform.
8. Availability and Modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable EU legislation, including the GDPR. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
